It tells of bees in the forest, of the beauty and ruthlessness of and inevitability of nature, of people and of predators and of co-existence and conflict. The wooden jara in the forest and the bees living within it are the fixed point in the story.
The main backer of Jara is the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through the Mercy Corps Georgia implemented Alliances Caucasus Programme.
