Public-Private Partnership for Climate-Smart Livestock

Veterinary input manufacturing and distribution company Roki Ltd invited extension specialists from the Rural Development Agency (RDA) to its showroom, where it presented its climate-smart veterinary inputs designed to help livestock farmers mitigate the impacts of climate change.

The session, attended by seven RDA extension specialists, built upon a previously developed manual Countering the Impact of Climate Change on Livestock Production in Georgia: Guidelines for Extension Specialists.

Following the meeting, extension specialists will continue to advance climate adaptation principles within their local communities, strengthening outreach and awareness efforts across the country.

The ALCP2 implemented by Mercy Corps Georgia, is funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) in cooperation with the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Sweden.
